What do you do when you’re frustrated that the playground signs aren’t effective or representative of the youth norms and values?

You gather your closest friends and make your own “signs”!

You sketch out your norms...

You develop a design criteria and start prototyping...
This “signage” should create curiosity and interaction, not be boring, be movable, encourage communication, deliver info multiple ways (though bilingual text, photos, etc), and positively reinforce the norms!

You storyboard & photograph...

Then you create a unique "sign"...

And share it with people of all ages who visit your playground!
